About the Chamber

We are stronger together.

The African Chamber of Commerce was founded on the mantra – ‘stronger together’, we are based in New Jersey, USA.

Our founding objective is to promote trade and investments between Africa and United States. With over 1,000 strong diaspora small business owner members, we are affiliated with the New Jersey Chamber of commerce, with access to a network of over 100 chambers of commerce across New Jersey, and several other national and international affiliations.

With our membership strength and dynamic networks that envisions impacting all sectors of the economy both in United States and across Africa, the mandate of our chamber is to constantly enhance human capital development required to drive socio cultural change, develop strategic network of branches in other parts of the country, across NAFTA countries and around the world.

What We Do Differently

The Chamber was set up to promote and develop Pan Africa trade relations, to continually create value for our members and facilitate business-to-business relationships that will make us stronger together. The Chamber will also promote African export to the United States of America and import to Africa through divers strategic partnership, this will help structure inflow of capital for sustainable developmental projects and divers investment opportunities into Africa. Our services will include: organize business Expos, internship and exchange program for emerging CEOs & entrepreneurs, trade missions across the two continents.

We will collaborate in the management of trainings, international conferences, and seminars packaged by training organizations and leading authorities in different fields. We will act as a forum to ignite mental revolution debates among members and non-members on topical issues affecting transformation, economic development and nation building particularly across Africa.

Our Objectives
  1. Facilitating business networking opportunities: To provide a platform for African diaspora businesses and entrepreneurs to connect, collaborate, and share resources for mutual benefit.
  2. Promoting trade and investment: To encourage and facilitate trade relations and investment opportunities between African businesses, the diaspora community, and partners in the United States and beyond.
  3. Providing business support services: To offer resources, training, and guidance to African-owned businesses and entrepreneurs, enabling them to thrive and succeed in the competitive business landscape.
  4. Advocating for policies conducive to business growth: To engage with policymakers, government agencies, and other stakeholders to advocate for policies that support the growth and development of African businesses and the broader diaspora community.
  5. Fostering economic development: To contribute to the socio-economic development of communities by promoting entrepreneurship, job creation, and sustainable business practices.
  6. Promoting cultural exchange and awareness: To celebrate and showcase the rich cultural heritage of Africa and its diaspora, fostering greater understanding and appreciation among diverse communities.
